The Full Story

About

Originlly from Las Vegas, Nevada, I've spent the last 12 years in Temecula, California kickstarting my career as an Aesthetician. Recently, I relocated to Nashville in February 2022 to pursue a family dream of starting a farm for our growing collection of (10 and counting!) animals. By the way... I will ask to see pictures of your pets, so come prepared!

I have always been a passionate animal lover and a dedicated supporter of animal welfare, growing up surrounded by a variety of pets, particularly horses, dogs, and cats. My childhood experiences with these magnificent creatures taught me the therapeutic healing power of connecting with nature and all its inhabitants. Currently, I share my home with a Labrador retriever and a cat, Tinkerbell and Violet. My family owns a beautiful farm that is home to our horses, donkeys, a bird, a cat, and four dogs. After our family had a litter of puppies, we chose to keep two sisters, alongside their mom and dad dog, completing our cherished four-legged family.

Education

Six years ago, I received my foundational education from Bellus Academy, one of the most prestigious and accredited esthetician schools in the state of California.

After relocating to Nashville, I chose to further my education, earning advanced certifications under the guidance of one of Tennessee's leading nurse educators, who has collaborated with top dermatologists in the state. In addition to deepening my expertise, I retook my state board examinations, becoming licensed in both California and Tennessee.

While the average esthetics program takes six months, my dedication to advanced learning and dual licensure has extended my schooling to over two years.

Vision

Throughout my career, I've worked with numerous celebrity clients, honing my skills in clinical, results-driven facials while advocating for natural remedies and holistic healing.

In my clinic, my mission is to address the root cause of skin issues rather than relying solely on skincare as a quick fix or band-aid solution. While I use skincare as a guided tool, I emphasize natural approaches to healing, focusing on identifying the internal imbalances that may be contributing to the problem. I often recommend herbal remedies and integrative methods to support the body's natural healing process.

Here at Skin Shaman Aesthetics, I strongly believe in the power of massage as essential care for both the skin and the body. Not only does it sculpt and drain lymphatic fluid, but its ability to calm the nervous system and reduce cortisol levels is crucial in treating skin ailments.

By addressing underlying stress, massage supports healthier, more resilient skin, making it an indispensable tool for skin health and overall wellness.
